Calidi welcomed seasoned attorney and former law enforcement officer Paul H. Neuharth, Jr. to its Board of Directors in January 2018. Neuharth has exclusively practiced criminal, administrative and constitutional law since 1990 and has held a place on the San Diego Daily Transcript “Top Attorneys” list for several consecutive years. Since founding his law office in 1994, he has achieved an AV Peer-Review rating for his distinguished level of professional excellence as an attorney. He is currently on the National Institute of Standards and Technology, OSAC Scientific and Technical Review Panel in Forensic Toxicology. In addition, he is currently on the Board of the La Jolla Bar Association and has twice served as President in the past. He has also previously sat on the boards of a publicly-traded microchip manufacturer and several non-profit organizations. Neuharth is a graduate of the Corporate Governance Institute, San Diego State University, and the Corporate Directors Forum. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside in addition to a JD degree from the University of San Diego. Throughout his career, he has five published cases, received multiple awards and recognitions, and been a member of various legal associations—both local and national. Neuharth has been granted admission to the California State Bar, the US District Court for the Central and Northern Districts of California, the US District Court for the Southern District of California, the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the US Supreme Court.
